Clean Maine Shores is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 based out of Bass Harbor, Maine on Mount Desert Island. Established in 1999 with a mission towards educating the local youth on natural history, it has evolved into much more. Our mission today is to maintain the natural beauty of MDI and its surrounding islands by doing and encouraging active participation in the picking of sea-trash along the beautiful coast.
